Avocado Toast



Avocado toast is my favourite healthy breakfast. 
Avocado has so many health benefits. It has protein and vitamins; and is fibre-rich.
Only use ripe avocados (preferably Hass avocados.) 

Ingredients

Wholewheat brown bread, 3 or 4 slices
Ripe avocado, 1 no.
Tomato, 1 no. (100g)
Onion, 1 no. (55g)
Lemon juice, 1 tbs
Green chili, 1 no.
Parsley (finely chopped), 1 ½ tbs
[Optional] Pepper, ¼  tsp
Salt, to taste

Preparation

  • Pit the avocado. Scoop out of the flesh with a spoon and transfer to a bowl.
  • Mash the avocado with a fork.
  • Mix all the ingredients and set aside.
  • Toast the bread and top with avocado mix. Do not wait for the bread to cool down or else it will turn soggy.
