Dancing Tea

Starting our morning with tea or coffee is part of my family’s routine. But today I am making a mesmerizing dancing tea. It is made entirely different from normal tea by adding more sugar and more tea powder. There is a science to making the tea dance in the two layers without mixing. If you reduce the amount of sugar your tea will not dance. So do follow the same recipe.

Ingredients

Water, 1 1/2 cup
Milk, 2 cup
Sugar, 2 tbs
Tea powder, 2 tbs
Note: The tea and milk should be hot.

 Preparation

  • Boil the water in a pan. Add sugar and tea, then boil for five minutes over low flame. Reduce to 1 cup.
  • Boil the milk in another saucepan. Once it boils, transfer to a bowl, and use a milk frother or hand beater to create stiff foam over the milk.
  • Strain the tea into two serving glasses.
  • Scoop the foam without milk using a spoon onto the tea.
  • Transfer the milk to a small vessel with a spout (for easy pouring).
  • Hold a spoon over the glass. Pour the milk very slowly over the back of the spoon without disturbing the foam. your dancing tea is ready. after engoying the dance you can drink it.
