Oatmeal breakfast (Gluten free, vegan friendly)

   Making a healthy oatmeal breakfast is very easy. At the same time, it is a good option for weight loss as it is fiber-rich and keeps you fuller for longer. This breakfast is incredibly nutritious, protein-rich, and packed with lots of vitamins. Make oatmeal a staple in your meal plan.      



Ingredients

 1cup =250ml

Rolled oats, 9 tbs

Hot water, 3 cups

Bananas, 2 nos or 300 g

Crushed walnuts, 1 ½ tbs

Peanut butter 

Or

Crushed peanuts, 1 ½ tbs

Organic Majdoul dates, 3 nos

Chia seeds, 1 tbs

Flax seeds, 3 tsp

Salt, a pinch

Cinnamon powder, ½ tsp

Roasted almonds*, 3 tsp

Honey, to your taste

*Note: If you only have raw almonds, soak them overnight and peel the skin off.


Preparation
  • Soak the oats in a wide bowl by adding three cups of hot water for ten minutes.
  • Slice the bananas and set aside.
  • Deseed the dates and set aside.
  • Crush the almonds and set aside.
  • Add all the ingredients except almonds in a blender and blend for one minute. After few seconds, blend again for another minute to make a smooth paste.
  • Transfer the smoothie to a bowl, and top with almonds. Add honey to taste.
  • Enjoy
